Der Fräskopf VH20 setzt neue Maßstäbe. Entwickelt, um die Idee einer universell einsetzbaren Portalfräsmaschine zur Volumenzerspanung mit unterschiedlichsten Arbeitsbereichen in allen Achsen zu realisieren, verbindet der VH20 starke Drehmomente mit hohen Rotationsgeschwindigkeiten in der A- und C-Achse bis 360°/s. In Kombination mit überdurchschnittlicher Genauigkeit des gesamten Maschinenkonzepts entsteht so eine hohe Oberflächengüte. Durch den symmetrischen Aufbau und die nach unten verjüngte, kompakte Bauform besitzt der Fräskopf VH20 eine geringe Störkontur.
Der Gabelkopf ist in Monoblock-Ausführungen aus Guss ausgelegt. Diese Bauweise erzielt höchste Temperaturstabilität und verfügt über eine integrierte Schwingungs- und Vibrationsdämpfung, die für noch präzisere Ergebnisse beim Fräsprozess sorgt.
